In addition to your online certificate, you will also receive:

Weekly live student support via zoom
Access to additional Skills for Workplace trainings through YWCA RI, including resume and cover letter writing, communication, networking, and leadership, financial literacy courses and much more.
During and after completion of the program, YWCA career counselors will assist students with their job search and application process. Counselors also provide mentorship while students begin transition into employment.

Must Be 18 years of age or older
Must Have a High School Diploma or GED
Must be unemployed or underemployed
Have NOT obtained a 4-year college degree
Rhode Island Resident
A good understanding of the time required for study, assessments, and projects.
Attend individual support sessions and group meetings.
Access to a computer and broadband Internet connection, either at home or through a public network or a shared computer.
Self-motivation, as exhibited by a record of accomplishment of carrying out the plans they make, or a willingness to stay in regular contact with employees of the training organization who might check in with them.
Basic English language and math skills, or access to resources, such as tutoring or remedial classes, that can help them improve those skills.
